In this artist's talk, recorded from a live Zoom on the 22nd March 2024, I interviewed Roy Eastland about his work and his approaches to life drawing. In the video he introduces us to his silverpoint drawings before explaining how he approaches life drawing exercises exercises from short poses, drawing a parallel with the qualities that he looks for in longer poses and drawings made from portrait busts.
