I went to Vegas a few years ago and was massively disappointed. I knew it'd be more expensive due to it being touristy, but it was just crazy. Paying 8 dollars for a two-thirds full pint and then being expected to tip on top of that! Then even the takeaway places are just shit versions of what you know. I'd be tempted to go again, but it's not all it's made out to be. You have to do tricks to cheat the system the whole time or end up broke and miserable.
