Since the Disney acquisition, storytelling has been carried out in a very compartmentalized manner. From what I know about how legends content was handled as it released, it seems like it was far more common for media released during the same general time to occupy vastly different parts of the timeline. Which approach do you think has been more effective at driving the narrative? I thought of this question because of Baylan and the announcement he was an Order 66 survivor. Both legends and canon have a large list of Order 66 survivors, but people seem to be getting more fatigued with every new one to appear. It just makes me wonder if it wouldn't be such an issue for people if the story at large hadn't been so focused on the time between episodes 3 and 4 for the last several years.

I think we are heading back in that Legends, less compartmentalized direction, and I agree with what you mean. I don’t necessarily think one is more effective than the other. I prefer the variety but I didn’t find one strategy to be any easier or harder to follow.
