I found the Obi-Wan comic rather underwhelming. It wasn't a bad series, and it looked beautiful, but like you said it didn't do much, which is a constant problem with a lot of Star Wars stories shoved into a small/specific time frame. Bounty Hunters sure does peak and valley, hard. They have my interest, let's see if it holds or fizzles.
