I like how Obi Wan describes the Force as being a light dispelling the darkness that makes you feel safe, and the whole fight with Vader was in the dark and he felt scared and very unsafe because he's so disconnected from the Force. I think when he does reconnect with it at the end of the series, it will be quite momentous.
