Obi-Wan Issue 1 definitely felt like setup for something more! Like a little interlude to a grander story. A peace that’s got little importance, but it’s needed to understand the whole. So I’m hoping that’s what it turns out to be! I loved it, but if only to just be seeing a new Obi-Wan story 😂 I’m definitely excited to see more, and like you said, see the purpose of this story!

We are exact opposites with the main Star Wars title haha I'm loving this arc far more than Luke's walkabout and the War of the Bouty Hunters crossover stuff. Honestly, I wish Marvel would just let Soule have another series that is just Luke on a Force scavenger hunt, I think that could work well as its own series. Obi-Wan was fine, it definitely felt like a 1-shot tied loosely back to some overall story that'll get wrapped up by #5, I'm wondering if this is taking place moments before Ezra shows up and his final fight with Maul and that's the looming darkness. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I do like that they're putting out the 5 issue minis again, they're hit and miss but I appreciate that they exist.
