Is there any canon reason people assume Commander Cody would not be loyal to the Empire even if his chip is removed/the effects of Order 66 wear off? It seems to be a very popular idea taken as fact that he would never harm Kenobi if it wasn’t for the chip but… do we know that? I can’t think of many sources exploring his level of individuality or sense of justice prior to the Order. Unless I’m missing something, I just feel like people are setting themselves up for a shock if he willingly stays with the Empire. Which I think he, or any clone, could do as we saw with Crosshair
