I think that was the real reason. And to make sure Qui-Gon didn't do anything crazy, like trust their fate to a boy they hardly knew.

U think maybe boba reaches out to din for some Help? Cobb vanth also since they both helped them with the krayt dragon ? Bc he gonna have some issues soon thanks

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Mando in the final episodes to connect back to season three. And Cobb Vanth would be wonderful to see again. Him being nearby makes a lot of sense.
