Oh no! With all the Schmoedown excitement (no spoilers), I totally forgot to make a Q&A post for this week! Please leave your questions for this week's Q&A below. With the deaths of many of the guest characters on The Mandalorian, is the show, in effect, pushing back on the tendency of characters to keep coming back after they should have died? Also, even though I am thoroughly enjoying the show, three of the episodes had someone about to kill Baby Yoda only to be shot. In each case, we hear the shot and then see the would-be-assassin fall. Do you think that shot is being overused?

Was Episode IX always intended to wrap up all 3 trilogies and end the Skywalker Saga? I don't remember hearing that discussion until JJ was brought back to complete this trilogy and I wonder if that was Lucasfilm's original intent or if it was a more recent decision.

I feel like it was. IX was the original number thrown around by George. So I think they figured one more trilogy would do that.

I think that trope only matters if we care about the characters, and we aren't getting a ton of time to meet these people. I also think that yes the constant Baby Yoda almost being shot thing is wearing thin
