New Patreon Rewards! (Patreon)

Hey there patrons! Thanks so much for being awesome and supporting us! We appreciate each and every one of you.

As I mentioned yesterday, we're rolling out some new tiers and rewards and all kinds of good stuff for you guys, because we want to keep making our channel more and more patron-centric. We want the content we produced to be what YOU want to see, and not what the YouTube algorithm tells us is "best." Thanks to you we've been able to do that. I'm going to be rolling out the changes immediately after making this post, so you can take a look at everything, but I'm also just going to post all the important information below so you can see it all in one spot. I'm sorry about the wall of text.

I think we've made each tier better than it was before, or at the very least it's stayed the same. But please do give us your feedback if you have any.

Rewards 

Force Sensitive - $1

For $1.00 a month you will be able to ask questions that I will answer in our weekly Q&A! Ask about Star Wars or personal questions, anything you want! I will pick five Patron questions every week to answer in a video. I will also write responses to every single question asked each week. Finally, you will receive access to Patron-exclusive series like Between Two Suns, content reactions, and so on.

Youngling - $2

For $2.00 a month you will get the same benefits as the $1.00 tier as well as access to our new weekly TV audio commentary series! Every single week we will release a commentary for an episode of The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance, or The Mandalorian when it starts to come out. Movie commentaries are still available to all patrons.

Padawan - $5

For $5.00 a month you will get the same benefits as the previous tiers as well as access to an exclusive live stream every month! We can play through games together like a live version of our Lore Plays with a less hectic chat room. It will be much easier for me to answer your questions!

Jedi Knight - $10

For $10.00 a month you will get the same benefits as the previous tiers as well as an exclusive behind the scenes video every month. Mollie and I will talk about what it’s like working as YouTubers. We’ll document how we handle sudden news releases or random problems or normal everyday stress.

Jedi General - $25

For $25.00 a month you will get the same benefits as the previous tiers, and you will be listed and thanked in every video we produce that month! During our end cards on YouTube your name or screen name (within reason) will scroll by as one of our Jedi General level Patrons.

Jedi Master - $50

For $50.00 a month you will get the same benefits as the previous tiers, you will be distinguished as a Jedi Master in our credits, I will thank you by name in a video, and you will sponsor a monthly series called Beyond the Stars, where Mollie, myself, and maybe guests will discuss fandoms outside of Star Wars, chosen in a monthly vote by you!

Jedi Council - $100

For $100.00 a month, you will get the same benefits as the previous tiers, you will be distinguished as a Jedi Council Member in our credits, and you will become a part of the new and improved Jedi Council! I am limiting this tier to twelve members, just like the real Jedi Council. Once a month the Council will convene to discuss the past, present, and future of Star Wars Explained. I want to hear your feedback as well as ideas for what you’d like to see us cover as we continue to develop our content.

Goals

We will begin a chronological rewatch of The Clone Wars, covering every episode of the series as we await the next season of the show! We will also do an audio commentary for Solo: A Star Wars Story, available to all our Patrons!

We will begin producing reaction videos to the comics, which usually come out every Wednesday. These videos will only be available to our Patrons. We will also do an audio commentary for The Clone Wars movie, available to all our Patrons!

We will begin producing reaction videos to new TV episodes as they are released. These videos will only be available to all our Patrons. We will also do an audio commentary for Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, available to all our Patrons!

We will begin producing reaction videos to new Star Wars novels as they are released. These videos will only be available to all our Patrons. We will also do an audio commentary for Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, available to all our Patrons!

We will begin releasing our Between Two Suns podcast on our YouTube channel as an officially Patron-sponsored series. We will also do an audio commentary for the Star Wars Holiday Special. God help us all.
