What do we know about Anakin's promotion to Jedi Knight in the canon?

Do you think that the quality of vader's armor has improved greatly in canon? I'm starting to think it is after reading the new Vader comic, I don't think vader in legends could absorb such a high powered and lengthy dose of palpatine's lightning and then apparently have no problems with his life support. Also in legends vader hated the armor and found it restrictive, but in canon he says it is acceptable and he still moves pretty quickly. Love your vids, keep it up!
