Conflicting interests drives character progression.

Welp oof to Dennis as he had to make deals with the local gang plus his 'joke' didn't work. 😣

Interesting read! What a loveable scumbag, Dennis is - if this comic is implying he was a serviceman (or rather, servicemachine) at some point though, it really makes you wonder what bots in other branches are like. Are there several mass-produced Dennises? Specialised units for each branch? God the EtR universe is so cool even beyond Nandroids, I hope lore like this is *really* fleshed out and expanded upon someday!

I’ve suspected for a while that the big butler bot serving for Ginny was a wartime bot, but prolly an even older model prolly dating back to the First World War; tho perhaps late into the war, there’s concept art of an early WW1 era soldier bot. In fact I think Dennis is a more advanced version for the 2nd world war, a lil more streamlined but he has expressive features (prolly to build relations/camaraderie with human soldiers the same reason why the big butler bot have an expressive face too). 🤔

The first two panels are an excellent insight on Deniss's aspirations/history. Also, love his personality. Reminds me a bit of Norm Mcdonald.

Is this guy going to be the main villain of this comic?
