Hmm, from what I remembered from the concept art, Emmy’s broken arm looked like a stripped down version without the exterior. This arm here LOOKS like that. Is it another Nandroid’s arm??? There MUSTve been Nandroids over the years (not shown in the comic) that have faced issues like Emmy before being outright dumped or were quietly decommissioned when a family no longer has young children for one to tend to.

Like there must’ve been previous generations/early versions of the Nandroids before the one line we know Emmy is from that’s been in the dumps over time, like old iPhone models put in the trash as people keep getting new ones.

Nandroids are kinda programmed to do white lies/subtle lies such as calling a fat man “robust” in the beginnings of the comic to lessen as much as possible a negative outlook of these bots by humans. At worst Emmy might call Barf “interesting” with a grimaced but polite smile 😀

Going off from my theory, there must be other household bots prolly from different brands or early lines from Sterling that Emmy might see in the dumps; household bots that very likely failed at cleaning and/or taking care of humans early on in commercial robot history before the technologies that are in Emmy’s line had been perfected. 🤔

Since there is nandroids who gossip, I believe they can lie. In a way, pretending to be someone's friend is a lie. Just like how the others were. Some need to lie so they can avoid situations where they tell children information they shouldn't know.

@Doninic Cellini, it’s ok dude you don’t have to do extra steps more than you need to! I honestly don’t mind scrolling downward like on the WEBTOON app & sometimes artists does neat tricks with panels if it’s continuous instead of individual panels 👍
