Astra - Two New Songs for the OST (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

Get your PepeHands ready cause Eric is hitting us with two emotional/sadness tracks. We got Tristesse and Wistful with the latter variant B being the track above. I think in a ranking, it goes from least emotionally charged to most in this way:

Why do we have 2 sad tracks while every other game had 1 sad track? The first reason is obviously because variety is better. :P But the more important reason is that what we noticed is something a song would telegraph what the scene is literally about to be about since you just immediately associate the track with those scenes (for good reason). Because these songs have variations and TWO different tracks, we can use some in scenes that are heartfelt as well as sad so it doesn't immediately reveal what the upcoming scene will entail.

I think little things like this is what will add that extra level of polish and keep the suspense of disbelief in a stronger state.

Which is your preferred track between Tristesse and Wistful? Or do you have a specific variant for your favourite?
