Here Comes 2021!! (Patreon)

Hope everyone is doing well! <3

Just wanted to wish you lovely people a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!!! 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year so just wanted to mention some of the positive highlights for PixelFade that you made possible with your support:

1) Ethereal Enigma full released on Steam and iOS/Android! The game is maintaining a 94%+ average review Steam user score and 4.5/5+ on mobile.

2) Announced Codename: Astra as our 4th new project! We had a lot of community voting regarding what you would like to see/preferences as we were blueprinting the game. This one is going to absolutely be our 'halo' project and if the already heated waifu wars on Discord is an indication, we are well on our way! ;^)

3) I left my day job and went full time into PixelFade. This was obviously scary but exciting at the same time but the last few months have made it obvious that it was the right call. Astra's planning and storyboard is significantly more robust than our previous projects because of the hours I've been able to spend behind it and with each team member individually. Your direct support makes it possible for us to make the game we want to without a publisher pressuring us. It lets us stick to our roots and not worry about someone breathing down our neck to add monetization features (e.g. microtransactions) or forcing poor quality work out the door to meet deadlines. I just can't thank you enough for giving us the means and support to stay true to our games vision. <3

As we go into 2021, we are excited for the continued development of Astra. Speaking of which, there will be a read version of the prologue/episode 1 in January so you will get a first hand experience of Astra's world, characters, our decisions for MC's backstory, and also the decisions you as the player get to make to see the larger branching and permutation of choices.

This will be the last post of 2020 as I've gone ahead and asked the team to take the time off and spend it with their families. They have all done amazing work thus far and I look forward to picking things up where we left off at the start of the new year!
