Every time I think about getting back to the CYOA idea I had with the voting and weekly (oops) updates, I get nervous as hell. Not knowing where the story is going to go and having to string all that together chapter by chapter is kind of nerve wracking, not to mention drawing it as well. I think I'm gonna call that experiment a failure. Writing a story by committee probably wasn't a great idea for a lot of reasons. That's the bad news.

Now for the good news. That blurry picture right there IS the CYOA!

I've found a program that will let me easily create an adventure book (think something like the actual choose your own adventure book series) all in HTML5 that people can download and go through on their own with several paths and endings. I'm going to take Cocoa's story and write it all out in that format myself with illustrations and put it up as a downloadable thing right here on Patreon. Hopefully this will be done by the end of the month, but if not, it will  be ready next month.

I might not illustrate every chapter, as you can see by the section of the outline above (no, that isn't even half of the full outline) it's going to have a lot of paths and story to it. Some things that aren't illustrated in the story itself I'll probably go back and do a sketch of at some point, y'know, if they're hot enough. This will go up for $10 patrons and some of the pictures will go up without context for $4 patrons so they're not left in the dust. I've been working really hard all February and a little of January on this outline and story. It's a lot harder than you'd think to write a branching narrative, so please bear with me as I get closer to completion. These take a while to make, but I have a good feeling you'll all be very satisfied with the result.

Stay tuned for the new and revamped version of Aliens Stole My Body starring Cocoa the Rabbit!

Side note: the same program also makes classic zork-style text adventures. No promises, but if I can figure that out, maybe that could be something as well for the far future.
