I don't write afterwords often enough. They are kind of liberating.

You all knew that Winter Maid was coming to an end with the sixth chapter, even I knew it. The thing with me is that I like creating new series, but I don't end them often… and it got me in trouble.

I always have to battle my desire to write new things and my inability to write short stories. Once I start a new one, I can go on forever… and ever… and ever. So when I look at my "Completed" folder, there is almost nothing in there. The result is, I have too many series going and too many people who are waiting for the next installment. The volume of what I have to write makes it almost impossible to set priorities anymore.

This is why I ended Winter Maid. It was not a flagship story like Feliformia or Animal Café, but it was a fun one. Mia was one playful character that I loved to write about. Her constant happiness and silliness (grey lions) just cheered me up. So yes, it hurt a little when I wrote "The end" at the bottom of the text, but it was the right thing to do.

Winter Maid was one of those "extra" stories that provided variety to my page. It was something other than catgirls and cuteness. It was something more bold and sexual, and it was a typical hetero relationship, which is rare in my work—a man and a woman, both imperfect, in love in a normal world. Even the hypno-device didn't alter that fact.

I remember when I created it, it was all about the device and the software used to turn Mia into a sexual entity. After the 3rd chapter, I knew I was heading to a wall, so I replaced the superficial style by a more human one. Interestingly enough, based on the comments I got, this drastic change had been well received, and it was comforting. Once more, my patrons and readers had demonstrated that they supported me for me and not only for my stories, something I have a hard time wrapping my head around. It was like a pat on the back. "That's fine, TS. No matter what you write, we will give it a shot because it's you."

I appreciated that a lot.

But now Winter Maid is over. It doesn't seem that much of a big deal, but Winter Maid chapters were 7-8k words each. (2 animal café each) … So, that gave me a few options. Create a new series or publish more of the existing ones.

It took me about one day to decide. I occasionally go on imagefap to look at the cartoons section to collect new ideas. It's hard because of the amazing garbage volume, but sometimes there are little hidden gems. I bumped into this amusing one (A tentacled romance) about a girl who started dating some sort of slimy creature that fell from the ceiling. It was very light-hearted, cute, and hilarious.

Inspired, I sat in front of my computer and started to type. It went sooo well, and I had so much fun. Parasitic Love was born. Parasite and tentacles are nothing new if you know how weird Japanese can be, but I am confident I managed to use my writing style to put a different twist on it.

Since I had loved Mia in Winter Maid, I built an almost identical character. Allison loves sex, is playful, and has no relationship issues. She is single and enjoys that very much, even though it was mentioned that she was looking for the "good one." On the other side, you have Skylar, the parasite from space, who is anxious, overly concerned by the ethical and moral responsibilities that come with being a parasite, and she is worried about getting rejected or hurt by her new host.

I think the pair fit very well together, and it was not hard to make them become friends right away. As the title suggests, there will be more to it later.

Now, Skylar is still a little parasitic slime, barely big enough to cover Allison's neck, but it's obvious that it won't remain that way. I'm pretty sure you guys have a good idea of where this is going. But by all means, if you have suggestions that you would like to see in this series considering the potential, absolutely let me know. I won't always use your ideas, but sometimes, it will inspire me to write a full chapter. So don't be shy.

I also decided to make this new series Super Fans+ because I wanted to bonify the offer. (something I've been talking about for a while.) I probably won't post new chapters every month, but I will do my best not to make you wait too too long. :)

On that note, I would like to thank everybody who has followed Winter Maid and appreciated it. It was a fun series, and I'm sure you'll see Mia and Brian at the Fox and Spice at some point. :)

Enjoyed hearing what coming to an end of a story feels like for you. I am one who has and continues to enjoy the stories.

Thanks again for the insight into your writing process. It is very cool to see how things get made, and your thoughts on your work. As always, your work continues to amaze me.
