It was a short one, yes. But part 2 will come soon enough. I think it was a good place to pause it. Glad you liked it. Maybe I should rent you to the other patrons. ;) there should be a special tier for that. ;)

I thought Alex was awesome the way she played her part so well by emphasising that she was just buying a thing for the night and not a person by refusing to pay an extraordinary large amount for something that was basically second hand.

I agree... Alex is a good character to play with because she is very smart and playful. When I wrote the negotiation part, I wanted her to devalue Anna, but I was scared that it wouldn't be credible... but because Alex is Alex, it worked really well. I also added credibility to the story when she took the time to have a little common sense chat with Anna to make sure there was no abuse going on. Alex is pretty good at gauging people because of her blind girl sixth sense. (yeah, I have all that crap inside my head)

Nice set-up, and I liked the girl-on-girl chat in-between, that made it all the more enjoyable for everyone. Looking forward to Alex playing with her toy 😁
