Hi guys,

Over the next few months, I'll be repackaging completed stories to address the following problems:

  • My Story index is growing and begin to be hard to read. I'll be merging all chapters of completed stories in one eBook (when it makes sense)
  • The metadata on .epub and .mobi was faulty due to my legendary tendency to cut corners when I want to share my stories asap.
  • I want to provide a better experience to new patrons, so they don't have to download 10 files to read a story.
  • I want to keep your reading tablets cleaner. ;)

Here is the first one I overhauled. The Sun I can't see.

Could I ask some of you to load it into your tablet and tell me if it's working well? I tried on my Kindle and it seems fine, but I just want to double-check before I do all the other series.

Thanks

TS

epub version: - import to Calibre (https://calibre-ebook.com/ - library management app). Metadata appears to be ok except: no cover (even while there is cover for it - in https://www.patreon.com/posts/cover-for-sun-i-42579913 ), no description at all (difficult to remember details about book). Table of contents have 2 elements ('The sun I can't see' - points to start of file, and 'The Sun I Can't See' - points right before chapter 1) which makes no sense because reader arleady knew book title after all. regular chapters titles in ToC are ok. - reading: bookfusion's web interface: loads more slowly than regular (combined from old files). This is likely because it's file (and not file-per-chapter). Some very old readers have issues with individual files >260 Kb, newer ones (and almost all mobile / web I knew of) just opens such files slowly. - reading:Android/Moon+ Reader Pro - opens ok. first 2 pages are almost empty. 'Copyright 2020/Support me on patreon' have white background instead of accepting configured background (it's only in this place). - reading:Android/Bookfusion app - opens ok. works ok - reading:Pocketbook 740 (it's InkPad 3 in some markets as far as I knew)(eInk reader with custom Linux-based firmware) - opens ok, works ok. it could be said it works good. Other series please.

Thanks for all the info. I'm sure I can improve many items. I'm just new to ebooks. I'll check the elements you mentioned.
