I know its been some time since my last update so I thought I would give a catchup on whats happening. As shown in the main image the bladerunner pistol is progressing but the top receiver is a little to small as it doesnt fit the scale of the rest of the pistol geometry. Overall the right hand side of the pistol is done, it just the left hand side now which is slightly different in terms of the top of the grip and the black moulded pieces shown on the right side.

Something I havent talked about which has also taken a load of time over the last couple months is that I'm currently doing a commission for Adam Savage, yes the real prop master himself. I'm not under an NDA or anything for it and I have been quite cryptic with posting stuff as I dont want to blast it out there. Heres what I'm modelling, St Edwards Crown.

The crown was made in the 17th century for King Charles II and was recently used for crowning the current King Charles. Parts of the geometry look easy like the maltese crosses and fleur de lis's but they were a lot harder than I first though as all the geometry is curved and sometimes not symmetrically so it was just lots and lots of surface work. I'm currently doing all the major gems that your can see are decorated all over it and I'm currently creating all of them in Solidworks and I'll them import them into blender to finish them off with a little sculpting.

Will the crown files be available for us when you’re done?

Yes, Adam wants a version for him to build himself and then a printable version he will host on Tested.com, I will also have it on here as well.
