NCR Ranger Helmet Done (Patreon)

Great news guys, the NCR Ranger is now done and in printable pieces. I have included the files in the video dropbox folder and added the link below for you to download it. As you guys have supported me only you will have access to this file first for a while before I upload it to MyMiniFactory.

This is version of the Helmet is without the space to put in fans, I will look at fixed placment for fans and space for a battery pack as I think it will make it more bearable to wear for extended periods of time. If you think of anymore improvements that might help then please tell me to update the files.

Do you have any recommendations for print settings, supports etc? When I import the parts in my slicers, they are very weirdly oriented to the build platform :)

I normally go for 3 to 4 perimeters with around 30 % infill for the main body of the helmet and then 3 perimeters at 15% for the other parts. I cannot really give any advice on supports as this just dependant on how you decide to print it.

Silly question! Just starting out 3d printing. Will i be able to print the whole file in pieces on a printer with a 120x120x120 print bed :)?

Not with the files as they are. I make all my files to print on a 200mm^3 build volume. What you would have to do is slice the files in half using something like meshmixer.
