Stargate Staff Weapon Update (Patreon)

I thought I would give a quick update on how the Staff weapon is going. I've done all the small shaft details from the first front grip to the tip. I have also got a rough actuator assembly designed to open and close the shell pieces of the head. I have got the rest of the geometry for the main shaft and have found that a core of a 16mm OD steel tube can be sourced from my local hardware store and show be availble to most people. This will provide most of the stiffness for the weapon due to its length, there will be a outer parts that are slid over the tube to give it the finished geometry.

Apart from that the only other news is that I have finally caught Covid and its currently kicking my arse so will try and take it easy this week so I can recover asap.
