I have finished the Star Wars Pit Droid and the files are available below and in the dropbox folder. I really wanted to have it as a fully foldable replica but looking at the joints from the animations of them unfolding they are just not possible as they are just to small to be printed and strong enough to survive even one use. But, the arms, wrist and legs are all moveable due to the ball joints and I've put points in for bolting them shut so you can adjust the tension in the ball joint so it can stay in place.
As seen from the picture above, I have exported a load of Doom Eternal meshs and the next model to start is the Super Shotgun. The green model overlaid on the mesh is what I've roughed out so far. There is a lot more detail in this version now but I've been able to export the textures for it aswell so getting the details of the writings and scrollwork is now a lot easier, the only issue is that theres a lot more of it. The other file on this post is the export I used that created by a guy called DTZxPorter who creates exporter for games, here's the link to his website with all the tools https://tools.modme.co/ .
I'm not going to publicize this as an open post but I have extracted the toys that you collect in the game which are in the Dropbox folder. These are just the game meshs as they come out of the base files so they are low poly but still look great. I think some smoothing in Blender and they'll be fine.
On a final note, Im not going to be printing anything for the next couple weeks or so as all my printers are dedicated to printing faceshield's for the NHS which I'm collaborating with the locla maker space to get done. Currently printing about 20 or so a day and the group has had on rolling average, 1000 orders to fill so I'm doing eveything I can to help out.
