Reporting news about star rail modding (Patreon)

There is a fair bit of discussion concerning the ban wave that Star Rail has experienced over the past day. And it is quite concerning so I'm writing this disclaimer to my dear subscribers.

Many of which are banned and provided a reason "For using 3rd party program" But majority of the users are unbanned based on the history I've read on AGMG discord that uses our tool — Including most of us modders who uses the tool all the time.

Some are banned using programs like FPS unlocker(or registry hack to unlock certain stuffs), some even say they don't use 3DM at all. Some uses VPN. Some are rerolling. Many are also saying they did all of those things and still remained unbanned.  Well, I hardly don't know the details myself. Truth is, we don't know if it's GIMI for HSR that's doing it or not or it can be others.

HSR is still currently on BETA. And the tools aren't properly developed yet.

I myself used an account that was banned but might be due to the following two reasons;

1. Because I've bought the account so it's possible that the one I bought it from used some kind of hack tool or a speed hack to reroll. The group where I bought from seemed to have a lots of reports of bought accounts being banned.

2. I accidentally posted the screenshot of my UID somewhere.

But my main account is still fine which I spent quite a few money already and linked to my genshin too.

Best resolution for this is that if you value your account. Don't mod your game until everything stabilized and wait for more information.

I'll still continue to mod the game as it only has value for me because it's moddable and continue to play with my main account and I'll report to you guys if something happens. But I'll stop making Honkai star rail mods for the time being until it stabilized. I'll go back to grinding genshin contents for now.

Honkai Star rail is fairly new and it makes sense that hoyoverse will be strict with these things and catch the people trying to cheat the game. The ban is pretty random but please rest assured that hoyoverse isn't attacking modding community as a whole, because if they are, there are several other ways to go about it. (Like taking down gamebanana or AGMG)

Modding will continue as usual. But Star rail is still in a war area zone so enter at your own risk.
