Today Hesse is joined by Spencer (@bog_chaser) and Esther (@capybaroness) from the internet culture podcast Get Cynical to discuss two gay-ass movies: They/Them and Exploited. One is good, one is bad, and both are terrible.

I made the mistake of watching the movies before the listening.. Really wish I listen first.. Exploited intro promised that the movie wasn't just going to be a porno while simultaneously only casting pornstars in this movie.. WrestlingStud was the best thing about the movie he harkened back to a great time when teen films where played by 28 years old. Also there was an easter egg that hinted that there where two gimps in this movie, there where different usernames for the gimp suit guy. And none of the gimp suit dudes every actually kill anyone, just a lot of assault. Golly at least it was a wicked rainy day when I watched this. The ending is soo deeply unsatisfying because what ever happens to Clark Kent or is the cliff hanger on purpose to play as a to be continued.. Or was the real Clark Kent, Kevin Bacon this whole time... Golly the moment in They/Them when it becomes a musical.. If only they leaned in to that a little bit more... Creepy singing shock sequence with harmonized pleas could have tore.. The real moral of the story is being gay is okay and murder doesnt solve every problem and im gonna be me anyway.
