Author Info: Lois McMaster Bujold (Patreon)

Lois McMaster Bujold was born in 1949, the daughter of an engineering professor at Ohio State University, from whom she picked up her early interest in science fiction. In addition to her Vorkosigan Saga science fiction series from Baen Books, her fantasy from HarperCollins includes the three Chalion novels and the Sharing Knife tetralogy. Her work has been translated into over twenty languages.

The Vorkosigan Saga won the first Hugo Award for best series in 2017, and The World of the Five Gods won the second in 2018.  In 2020, Bujold was named the 36th Damon Knight Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
