Are you happy with the body (and costume) direction of Hu Tao? (Patreon)

So I've posted up the Hu Tao WIP blog. This is a version of Hu Tao I had worked on before I started the Patreon, and I'm still relatively happy with it - but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys before finalizing it.

For the most part, I'll still be publishing her as is - small details can be changed, but the overall direction is still 'canon'. However, if there are reservations, and these opinions are broadly shared, I'm willing to create 'Patreon Special Variant' alongside the version that already exists. Before you ask for thicc booba/ass that's ever popular, I have already created that variant.

Also, if you have particular suggestions on costume details, let me know. I won't be making anymore costumes (I've made so many for both girls), but I can still make smaller alterations.

To be clear, I'm quite satisfied with the costumes and variations available, but what I'd really like to see more of is "unique" base nude bodies for each character. The ones that have been done so far, particularly Miko and Tao, are excellent. The key to what makes the Miko and Tao base bodies so good are the small but significant unique combinations of features: the size, shape, position, and color of each character's nipples, areola, breasts, butt, labia (majora & minora), clitoris, and anus. Couple this with some occasional sculpting of other bodily features like thighs, waist, and arms, and you've got an excellent opportunity to streamline a process while retaining a high quality product. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at a glance it looks as though you're using the same base body for each character and just making small adjustments. I would propose you do this but with the intention of using a unique arrangement for each character. To me, a "unique" base body fitting of their respective character would be as enticing, interesting, and varied as each of said character's original costumes. I certainly can't speak for everyone, but I have a feeling, that at the end of the day many of us are here to see each "character" naked. They are unique characters each with unique backstories, VAs, aesthetics, and playstyles, and we'd like to see the unique bodies to match. Any which way, you're doing a great job, so keep it up. 👍

Yes! You've captured/understood what I'm trying to convey with the bodies - reuse, but make each unique. To be fair, I can go further - and I plan to at a later stage. As much variety as I've put into all these details, realistically, they are much more variable in reality (and even in hentai). So, I'll try to add more unique marks (body moles/beauty marks, birth marks, etc), vary up nipple/labial/anal details. I want to give you the feeling that "Ah, this is what *this character* looks like nude!

Well, thanks for the feedback all! still welcome to leave comments and requests, but it seems the consensus is resounding. Will continue the current direction and simply work on improving the fine details and overall quality and consistency before release!
