Silver+ Tier | July 26-31, 2021 (Patreon)

I spent the week practicing animating with motion capture assets. It is both a blessing and curse, depending on the details of it . I have tried a few different software's, each with their own gimmicks, but am discovering that outside of using practically the entire base loop, it's not as simple as one would hope. You can see two of these tests in this week's Silver+ Tier folder: each is a base of motion capture, and then my own edits on top of them. Can you spot which is which?
That being said, I do see a ton of potential in the libraries I have found and others I still wish to test, and will continue to do so with my own models: the catch is that most motion captures require their own skeleton and rigging, so it's another hurdle. But I hope to create more fun content soon with it, including memes, and using it for the current WIP animations.
