Some of my favorite small details:

• Small ladders up to table tops in the case of accidental shrinkage
• Bottles of Growtein, box of Grownuts, and various potions, spell books, and different style tanks with hoses
• Flickering lantern lights
• A trouble making bird in the rafters
• Various glowing buttons (one of them is like that light switch in your house you cannot figure out what it controls)
