NOOOOO!! :'( You should always start a new Star Wars journey with Rogue One.. it sets the environment and the stakes before leading directly into A New Hope, which introduces us to our Heros

PapaXan

I don't think that's the best start. It makes you realize how much better Vader should have been in the original trilogy. Just the last scene of him on the rebel ship is a stark contrast to how he was in what was only a few minutes or hours from the end of Rogue One to the beginning of Episode IV.

PapaXan

Nice to see you again Ellie! Hope your felling much better. May the Force be with you, and also vaccines.

Adam Grunther

Are you guys going to react to the sequel trilogy?

Julian

Ellie is back.Nice to see

A.J. Workman

Please actually do all the movies this time instead of saying it ends with episode 6

PastaDon

Are you guys going to do polls again? Just wondering because there are a butt load a good movies out there you guys haven't watched yet..

Rob Benjamin

Firstly, welcome back Ellie! Happy you’re feeling better! Great reaction here you two! Lia now gets to experience these wonderful characters and the Star Wars universe!

Rob Benjamin

Oh and yes, I think you guys should eventually do the newer trillogy as well. Yes, the more passionate SW generally dislike it… but there are still some great moments throughout. But most importantly, George, Favreau and Filoni are currently working on ways to “correct” them with their upcoming content that will sway your experience with those stories from the newer trilogy in a new light. They are not going ignore whats been done, but rather make new content to alter your perception of them. So might as well watch them now/soon before the new content on Disney+ eventually comes out. Just a friendly warning 😃

One of my genie wishes is to un-watch everything after ep. VI

Aaron Barlow

Seeing an awesome hero in Original trilogy Luke only to see him destroyed is not something I would wish on anyone.

Josh

U guys really should watch it in chronological order with the timeline instead of the release date. It's easier to understand if u haven't been watching it ur whole life 1) Episode 1- Phantom Menace 2) Episode 2- Attack of the Clones 3) Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith 4) Solo 5) Rouge One 6) Episode 4- New Hope 7) Episode 5- Empire Strikes Back 8) Episode 6- Return of the Jedi 9) Episode 7- Force Awakens 10) Episode 8- The Last Jedi 11) Episode 9- Rise of Skywalker

Josh

There's tons of movies they still haven't done in the polls in the past. They just love Marvel it seems like. I know 1 for sure that won top 3 in the Halloween polls I requested and they never watch , it was the new "It" Films. Its whatever , but I can think of tons of great films & shows besides Marvel

Edward Olson

Reasons not to watch it in chronological order: 1) The technological abilities grew over the years, so watching a newer movie before an older one is jarring. 2) Certain films were made by different filmmakers. Watching the original films first retains the viewpoint of the original filmmaker for those films and sets it for any future films. 3) Most surprises are entirely erased if watching in chronological order. 4) Certain early films in chronological order are substantially inferior. 5) The Disney Star Wars movies are mostly crap, so don't bother watching them at all. 6) The magic feeling people get watching Star Wars comes from the 1977 film. You don't get that from Phantom Menace, and definitely not from Attack of the Sand. I mean Clones. 7) Are you seriously suggesting someone watch whatever-his-name as Solo before watching Harrison Ford as Han Solo? I can't take you seriously. 8) I also can't take someone seriously who spells Rogue "rouge."

Josh

Lol , Can't take me seriously because I suggested maybe watching a movie franchise chronological order this 1 time ? its just Star Wars. Also I'm sorry I accidentally spelled 1 word wrong by putting the letter "u" in the wrong spot. Really wish I would have read over what I wrote before pressing send. Shit I can't take myself seriously ... can't believe i accidentally spelt "Rogue" wrong

NEXUS

The only films worth watching are episode 4 5 6,the rest are absolute trash, especially 7 8 9,scripts written by fucking kinder garden kids with woke agenda.

My opinion is that all Star Wars movies are at least good, some are better and some are masterpieces of their time. Even if some people like to call the new movies 'crap', that is not the case. For background, I would consider myself a Star Wars nerd since I was 6 years old. My brother and cousin (both 11 at the time) would take me to the cinema, buy three tickets for all of us while I waited somewhere in the back and then we'd watch 'Star Wars' (later Episode IV: A New Hope). 😄 Certainly, I know that some people don't like the new movies since Disney took over. The story has been rewritten, and I think that's the biggest complaint for these people. Also I know the books from the time before since I've read most of them and well ... some of them had really poor stories, so it sure wasn't all a loss. I for one have come to the conclusion that the new story development is fine, the movies are good (or better), and while I had a few complaints about Ep. VIII, I still accepted the changes. So I could really enjoy these movies and I like to recommend everybody to watch them as well and make their own mind. 😉 It is quite the same discussion about 'The Hobbit', but those are very good movies too, even if the storyline differs quite a lot from the book. 😊
