In answer to the questions posed by the ladies during the film, regarding the different American holidays represented on the trees: The heart is St. Valentine's Day (Feb. 14th) as they guessed. The Turkey (what Michelle called a hen) is for Thanksgiving, The 4-leaf clover (aka shamrock) is for St. Patrick's Day (an Irish holiday), and the decorated egg is for Easter. And, obviously, the decorated tree is for Christmas and the Jack-o-lantern (pumpkin carved into a scary face) is for Halloween. This movie had its premiere October 9, 1993 at the New York Film Festival, and I was there. The film was introduced by Tim Burton himself, where he read a congratulatory telegram (the pre-internet text message/email, for all you millennials) from the legendary horror actor Vincent Price himself, received 16 days before Price's death.

I know it's probably not what the majority would want to see, but I would absolutely LOVE to see you all react to more musicals! It's my favorite movie genre and I think you guys would enjoy them so much!!
