The metal adamantium in Wolverine's body over the years & years messed with his healing factor. Because of the metal , his body was constantly healing itself. Since his healing was F-ed up , the metal covering is skeleton was poisoning him

This movie was Hugh Jackman's goodbye to the X-Men universe. This is the last time you will see him as Wolverine, ever.

That's was my first reaction when I saw this movie for the first time. This was worse than endgame when Tony stark died. This movie was brutal.

This is obviously much different from the other Marvel movies. The actor (Hugh Jackman) wanted to stop playing Wolverine because it was very grueling at his age to continue making these movies. This was his swan song, the same for Xavier (Patrick Stewart). It’s based on the comic Old Man Logan and it’s about him living his last days, and it’s a real ending, not a Hollywood ending. Everyone wants them to come back for future movies, including Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), but so far he hasn’t said yes, because he’s very proud of this movie. It’s not a superhero movie, so much as it’s a movie about a man trying to find peace.

This movie is based on the "old man wolverine" alternative comics, it's nothing to do with the other kiddie shit marvel films. It's the only decent Marvel film made, the rest is mostly fluffy nonsense with CGI. This film actually has a proper story and real acting and no pretty faces (so thankfully no Michelle talking every second about someone being so hot or cute😴🤣, and missing important plot details) with lots of arm waving and forehead touching to signify powers being used. It's so funny watching these two during movies, it's so clear what's happening in the films yet they both don't understand anything 😂. I think you should watch Alitta battle Angel if you haven't already.

This is a reaction video, most people don’t want to watch someone sit still for 2+ hours, thinking about a movie. They can always watch it again, either on their own time or doing another reaction with somebody new. Not to mention they have people that are more than willing to go into great detail to answer whatever questions they ask. As for the other Marvel films, I would argue about them being fluff. They are decent to pretty solid movies with only a few falling short. Are they award winning pieces, no, but they aren’t a complete mess either.

The very fact that you girls were in such complete disbelief about the ending of the movie is actually a tribute to how much it mattered to you, if you think about it. Facing mortality and growing old is of course part of life, but is usually overlooked by "typical" Marvel movies. This one faces it head on, happy ending or not.

I love this movie, but struggle through it every time I see it. Seeing you both watch it was no different this time, either. Wonderful reaction, ladies. I think it's worth noting, in The Wolverine, Yukio says she sees Logan dying with his heart in his hand. She is not seeing him on the hospital bed in Japan after he cuts himself open to get rid of the machine parasite literally grabbing his heart. She's seeing the scene at the end of this movie, holding his own daughter's hand while he dies. Laura is his heart.

Wolverine died , because actor Hugh Jackman said this would be his last film playing Wolverine. He was Wolverine for 17 years , and it took a lot to prepare for that role. Just the dieting & gym hours alone were insane. Guess it catches up to u.

Hugh Jackman pushed for this movie, this story. This was the way he wanted his version of wolverine to end. Patrick Stewart too. It was a gift. The first x men movie that wasn't written for kids. Not including deadpool. A true ending. A story that could stand alone.

In the wolverine, the old man tells Logan that he can't take his mortality from him and that Logan can live a long normal life. I remember thinking, without that healing ability Logans body would collapse due to the adamantium.

This is my favorite one of them all. Glad y’all watched it. Yes it’s sad but every story has an end. I think this one was beautifully made.
