Dude, The Witch (2015) not action heavy like most horror movies but just creepy AF all the way through, in a smart way. Honestly better than everything you got up there (though of course The Exorcist and Psycho are classics)

I know zombieland is technically a horror but it’s definitely more of a comedy , literally not scary in the slightest lol

The fact that (as of the time of me writing this comment) there are more votes for “Constantine” than there are for films like “Psycho” and “Get Out” is – among many other things – extremely depressing. (•̥́_•ૅू˳)

Lots of movies are labeled as “Horror” when they aren’t trying to be scary at all and/or are (wrongly) considered to be an entirely different genre by the majority of audiences etc. If Zombieland is on this list, I am kind of miffed that Sam Raimi’s iconic “Evil Dead 2” isn’t on here, you know? Zombieland is more recent, I get that, but then why not just put “Shaun of the Dead” instead of the *absolutely not Horror at all* 2004 version of “Dawn of the Dead” (the Zach Snyder one that has…way too many issues to even list off for the sake of time & brevity lol).

SECONDED. **I WILL PAY FOR A DIGITAL 4K COPY OF “THE WITCH” (2015, A24 studios) IF THE HOMIES WILL REACT TO IT.** (Or I’ll make some other kind of donation; just tell me what I need to do to make this happen please!) AND DO NOT GO LOOKING THE MOVIE UP BECAUSE THE LESS YOU KNOW GOING IN THE BETTER. I PROMISE IT DOES NOT HAVE STUPID JUMP SCARES OR ANY OF THAT STUPID NONSENSE. IT IS AN ACTUAL HORROR FILM THAT TELLS A STORY WITH *CHARACTERS YOU CAN GENUINELY UNDERSTAND AS HUMAN BEINGS, NOT JUST A GROUP OF RANDOM PEOPLE WHO ONLY EXIST TO GET KILLED EVERY 8 MINUTES OR WHATEVER. The current poll has a couple of solid Horror movies on it, (but none of them seem to be getting any votes). “The Witch” (2015) is BY FAR the best movie to watch if you want to do a Horror reaction before Halloween. I SWEAR TO…well I don’t believe in any sort of god & I don’t know if you guys do, so, uh…I SWEAR ON MY THREE ADORABLE DOGGIES that “The Witch” isn’t very different in terms of how “scary” it is to watch than the movie, “The Sixth Sense.” (Ellie seemed to truly appreciate that one at the end. And why? Because The Sixth Sense is a [Horror] movie about “grief,” “loneliness,” and “depression.” The ghosts are NOT the antagonists of that film; having a life where you’re so misunderstood by the world around you that start to feel like there’s no hope for things getting better eventually – THOSE THINGS are what “haunted” the little kid, Cole in The Sixth Sense. He was just as afraid of being a disappointment to his mom & never fitting in with anyone for the rest of his life as he was afraid of the ACTUAL ghosts he could see). Okay, sorry I got carried away there. But please please please, someone help me find a way to make this happen. The Witch is the best [American] Horror film made in the 21st century, and I cannot begin to express how absolutely different “The Witch” is compared to nonsense like “The Conjuring,” or “Insidious,” etc. (Oh and as mentioned in another comment: stuff like “Constantine” isn’t in the same ballpark as the Horror genre, but I’m guessing there might have been a patron or something that (unintentionally) lead you to believe it was(?). I really don't get the high vote count for World War Z, it really wasn't good, kind of boring tbh. I'm not a big fan of Brad Pitt, but sometimes he makes amazing stuff that just has to be watched. World War Z was not amazing.
