I am really passionate about NASA. It was great to hear my name mentioned by Ellie in the beginning and to see both her and Larry so interested. My first requested movie as an Ultimate member was not disappointing for the most part. We need more, not less, space exploration in my opinion!

The 1201 alarm occurred because the navigation computer memory was overflowing and they had to repeatedly reset the computer.

Great choice Andrew. Apollo 13 is another great and historically accurate one. I'm all for the space exploration movies!

The top tier requires zero nudity nor sexuality to protect against soft porn requests. I went Ultimate knowing that. The women of this channel are like a sister. Completely non sexual.

Imagine how explorers felt 5-600 years ago. The earth was flat and the oceans full of monsters. If you sail to far you will fall off the edge of the world. I think then it was much the same as it was for early space explorers, taking a chance and stepping into the unknown and hoping to return but not knowing if you will.

Without failure you can not advance and learn. If everything was easy there would be no incentive to try.

The last I heard, someone had launched a net to catch the larger pieces of space debris and a magnet to capture smaller pieces. Once they have serves their purpose they will be directed back into the atmosphere where everything will burn up on reentry.

A good movie that involving space debris/trash is called "Gravity". It would be worth watching I think. Its about survival after a space shuttle is struck and destroyed by space junk. It will have you holding onto the edge of your seat. I enjoyed the two of you talking and discussing different events and possibilities

As an Ultimate Homie member, I'm going through a process of elimination with my next request. I have several films in mind.

Andrew Morgan

I know that film and an actual astronaut who went to the International Space Station more than once discredited it. The physics are mostly for entertainment value.

Apollo 13 is a much better movie.

I think I've watched this 8 times now. Trying to get a feel for how The Homies will respond to my next request.

Rumpus Parable

What happened at the beginning was that he broke out above the main atmosphere into space and then when he went to re-enter he didn’t get the right angle to cut into it, so the craft bounced off the air and threw him higher. So he then had to find a way to angle the ship back down and then get in, causing him to then come in too sharp and fast.

Oh, unmanned vehicles take between 6-8 months to get to Mars. It’s thought a manned mission would take around 9-10 months. A massive risk, above the trash detail, is the idea and negotiations right now to possibly soon set up a new major satellite network around the Earth. It would/will cause severe issues with both physical space travel and Earth-based astrophysics research.
