Update and Patreon Concerns) (Patreon)

Hey all, it's SatsumaLord here; just wanted to let people know that I am working on Patreon content, but once again real-life has gotten in the way of things, so it's taking me longer than I'd like to actually have things ready for you all.  ^_^;

With that said though, I'll hopefully have some artwork and sketches posted up in the coming days, provided something else doesn't immediately come up.

In addition, I feel like I should bring up that Patreon has recently started rolling out their newest security measures, and I'll admit that I'm somewhat concerned about that; with the biggest thing being that it sounds like fairly soon, they'll start requiring people to upload their driver's license into their system, especially if you're an adult/18+ content creator.

Now, besides the obvious invasion of privacy this is, this also feels like a very serious security risk; especially since from what I understand, the information they'll be asking for will be held by a completely different company, making them more likely to be hacked by outside groups.

And I don't know about you all, but the last thing I need in my life right now is to have my identity stolen and my credit cards maxed out, all because the platform I rely on for a living can't fully protect my information.  ^_^;

So yeah, with that being the case, I'm seriously considering broadening my options, on the off-chance I get removed from Patreon, for whatever reason.

I'll still be making it a point to provide content of course, for as long as Patreon will have me; things are just a bit concerning for me right now, is all.  ^_^;

Anyway, hopefully such a thing won't be necessary, but I'll be sure to provide updates to you all in case anything changes.  In the meantime though, thanks as always for your support and I hope that you're all doing well.  :)
