Millie and Shane: Bat on Glass, with Coffee (Patreon)

An excitable Millie notices Shane through a cafe window, and tries to get her attention in the best way a busty batgirl can; by yelling and waving with great elation, of course! =p The massive bosom pressing up against the glass was just a happy accident (though Shane might not agree with that statement). X3

Anyway, I wanted to try a couple of new things, mostly related to backgrounds and trying to get a "squish" effect on glass. I messed with shading a bit, but ultimately decided to remove it, since I thought it detracted from the "squish" effect of Millie against said glass.


Regardless though, I hope you guys enjoy it. :)

Yep, this piece is definitely boss in various spectrums... as I had predicted~ Interesting to see you simplify the cityscape portion of the BG to the point of it just being shapes of colors. It does give a nice "through the looking glass" feel. And it still works well with your current style, even helping the characters stand out more. Even though I'm curious as to what this "other shading method" was. Biggest thing I enjoy about this picture is just how casual it is (a nice trend I've been noticing a bit more from ya lately in other pics, too), even with Millie squishing up against the window as such. As much of a big element as her breasts are, the squishage oddly doesn't feel overwhelming or overtly done. Having a modest and pastel-colored top as well as the situation is definitely keeping it more subtle and contextual, if that makes sense. So everything remains cute and innocent while still being comical. Truly an adorable "accident". And the contrasting expressions of the two really help out with that comedic factor. I swear Shane is probably thinking something along the lines of "Can somebody please peel this girl off this window? She's blocking the sunlight." And I just adore Mille's "gleeful wave", even though I thought she was eager patting the glass to get Shane's attention at first. And I can't get enough of her huge eyes when she gets so excited. Okay, I've spent too much time trying to formulate this comment. My bad for eatin' up yo time and carry on about your day. 8X

Sorry for not replying back to this comment way sooner; real-life was a bit crazy there for a while. ^_^; Anyway, thank you for such a thorough comment/critique. I really do appreciate the amount of thought into what you say, especially when compared to a lot of the "hot" or "OMG nice!" comments that I tend to get. It means a lot to me that you're willing to express yourself in such a complex way (though don't feel obliged to always leave such huge comments, as I don't want you to agonize over what you want to say =p). Regardless though, thanks for enjoying the piece, as it is appreciated. :)
