lol so digestive biscuits (pronounced “digestive biscuits”) are pretty much the tap water of biscuits in the UK: definitely good, but not exciting unless they’re tarted up with chocolate and/or caramel (protip: most British treats come in a chocolate-covered version). HOWEVER, McVities’ Hobnobs are fucking awesome and never get their proper due (again, watch for the chocolate-covered version, they are magical!) I’ve seen them in grocery stores here in Canada, if you see them in the US I would definitely recommend grabbing them!

Oh, and the tune Sue and Mel are pastiching at the start of Batter Week is a classic kids' song about a descending number of green bottles hanging on the wall, kind of like 99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall but with a different melody.
