David may not have been blind at that point in her life. Also, not much is known about Tarra's teenage years yet. Not to mention, part of me is not 100% convinced he actually <i>is</i> blind; it may be all a VERY clever act. He was a member of the D-52, after all. Case in point: Remember the battle with the D-52 in the girls' old apartment (the first half of the "Terms and Conditions" series, and especially Part 20), particularly with Mandalay. In Part 20, he stops Mandalay just before he gets punched by him, pointing to a certain direction and informing Mandalay "I live <i>that</i> way" so that Mandalay can at least punch him out of the building in the general direction of his house. Now keeping in mind that David had just been tossed around the entire apartment by Mandalay--including through walls--so either he is EXTREMELY adept at remembering and deducing his orientation relative to his surroundings, or... he's not really blind. Also, David appears to be well-nigh indestructible. Wouldn't that naturally extend to his eyes as well? 🤔🤨
