We’re checking in today with some big news about the future of our 5E Development. We’ve got some major releases, and changes, landing over the next few weeks that we’re excited to share with you right now.

A new 5E Campaign & Setting Book

Let’s kick things off with a bang – the full Path of Penitence Campaign Book is finished. We’ve been building this one up for some time now, and it’s finally ready! This 150-page manual is a more unified and user-friendly guide, bringing together all our custom rules and systems, alongside new tips for starting and running campaigns with Bestiarum’s 5E content.

Changes to our Adventure Production Cycle

2024 heralds some exciting changes for Bestiarum. Very soon, we’ll be introducing crowdfunding campaigns alongside our Monthly Subscription. These campaigns will not only offer opportunities to acquire previous Collections and new minis, but also brand-new Adventures.

To support this new approach, we've made the strategic decision to adjust our release schedule. This means saying goodbye to monthly adventures, but it will open the door to larger, more comprehensive supplements with each campaign. This shift allows our creative process the space it needs to flourish, enabling us to deliver exceptional and enduring content without the constraints of monthly deadlines.

We understand change can be bittersweet, especially for our loyal supporters who have been with us every step of the way. That's why we're committed to ensuring that these new Adventures remain accessible to our All In Tier Subscribers.

As we roll out these new campaigns, we're developing a system that honours your support and investment in our growth. Expect updates on how we plan to integrate these new adventures into our Loyalty Rewards System, ensuring that consecutive supporters receive each new book.

Extended Adventure Archive

We recognise that the loss of new Monthly Adventures will cause some disruption. To help fill the gap this creates, we are extending the Adventure Archive to include all 19 of the Adventures we released from December ‘21 to July ’23. These Adventures, chart some of the major moments in the story of Doaden, such as the Beastmen’s siege of Sturmenberg, or the Crusade’s clashes with the Eternal Legions in the Ashen Wastes.

Alongside the existing Archive, this creates a treasure-trove of 30+ Adventures, that will serve as the backbone of the Bestiarum 5E Experience, alongside the Path of Penitence Campaign Book. There is a wealth of content here that will keep your table occupied for months, if not years.

These Adventures will be added to the Archive in March.

New Look Stat Books

Although our adventures are undergoing changes, the statblocks aren't going anywhere – you'll still receive two new booklets covering each of the collections we release every month.

Beginning in March, however, you'll notice some enhancements to our Stat Books. Based on your feedback from the All-In Tier Survey, we're extending faction lore and including more inspiration for integrating these collections into your games.
