Forbidden Psalm – A New Chapter (Patreon)

Hey Everyone,

Hope you’ve all been enjoying January’s Releases - we’re coming at you today with some news, ahead of the full February reveals, coming in a few days.

Let’s start with the headline, from February, we’ll no longer be releasing Forbidden Psalm Content as part of our Monthly Collections. We know this’ll be disappointing news for the folks playing these modules, thankfully though, we’ve got two exciting plans that we think might soften the news…

1. The Forbidden Psalm Adventure Archive

Starting February, we’ll be making our entire Forbidden Psalm Adventure Archive available to our All-In Tier Subscribers!

That’s 28 Adventures and almost 81 Individual Scenarios! From the Accursed Ettin, all the way back to Man Eaters Part 1, released in December 2021, right at your fingertips.

We want to give more of you an excuse to bring your miniatures onto the tabletop, and we think this format is the best way to do it.

2. The Path of Penitence

Secondly, we’ve got something exciting in the works. It’s always been our ambition to bring the Path of Penitence to a wider audience, not just 5E. With that in mind, in the coming months, we’ll be launching a Campaign to bring the Path of Penitence experience to Forbidden Psalm.

This will be a big book, containing:

Path of Penitence Campaign Rules
Face the realm’s evils and chip away at the burden of your sin.

Adventure Anthology
Connect our library of Adventures into a full campaign, each one offering an opportunity for retribution, or at least an honourable death.

Redesigned Visuals
A cohesive and attractive PDF book, featuring lore snippets and artwork.

We can’t wait to share more about this project with you all – collecting up the past 2 years of Forbidden Psalm development, and creating a definitive, and distinctly Bestiarum experience is going to be a tonne of fun.

Changing our monthly rewards is never a decision we take lightly, and we’ve spent a good amount of time mulling this one over. We think now is a good time to press pause and devote time to creating this Anthology - The current library of Forbidden Psalm Modules presents a great experience, with an absolute tonne of gaming content to enjoy, and we want to take the time to make that experience more accessible.
