Hey Everyone,

It’s time for another September preview! We hope your eyes and minds have recovered from the majestic terror of the heavenly Angels, because now we’re going to be drawing you down deep into the damp, the loamy and decaying.

For September’s second release, we’re proud to introduce – Mycena Mortifera, the fungal menace.

Feast your eyes on this bounty of madcap monstrosities, you can check out each one in individual and excruciating detail in the Post Gallery!

Planning Ahead – Terrain Projects

Marcus has been planning his hobby ahead for September’s release and spent the weekend working on a terrain piece, using some of the Fungal Terrain we released back in June, as part of Goblin Grotto (plus a new piece of Mushroom Terrain coming in September!).

Still very much a work in progress, the core build is an old piece of driftwood, chunks of polystyrene, plus some sheet cork; hot-glued together, then coated in a mix of wall-filler and sand. Let us know if you’d like to know more about this build, and perhaps we’ll return to it in September.

In case you missed the Goblin Grotto release back in June, here are the links, plus some of the more mushroom-themed characters from that release.

Goblin Grotto Terrain Collection

Goblin Spore Sower

Fungal Hermit

And don’t forget, subscribers can grab this at 50% off, so don’t forget to add the code at checkout!

Bonus 4K Wallpaper

Alongside these art previews, we’ve also prepared a 4K Desktop Wallpaper, featuring one of our favourite designs from this release – The Fungal Knight you can download it direct from this post, in full resolution.

We hope you’re looking forward to September’s release as much as we are! Between these fungal horrors and the Angels, it’s going to be a hell of a show!

Cheers,

Bestiarum Team
