This Week's Completed Projects

OH ,MAN! This was a very tense week! As promised in the previous update post, I managed to finish both the review, and the Plutia video! Let's first talk about the review.

I finished the last segment for the review on Tuesday and spent all of Wednesday rendering all of the animation segments. I didn't finish the video 'til 2 PM Thursday night. This was due to the fact that I had some serious lighting issues with the Tiara model. If you aim your light directly at his face, then you can see the box used to store her facial expressions. I had to apply a very small amount of light to get the model to look normal, but it was a huge hassle. Until better Fairy Fencer F models come to Steam, I don't think I will be using them any time soon. The other hassle I had for the review is the ending scene. Normally, I would do the outro, then have a small sneak peek what I'll review in the near future. The problem is that Youtube's new end card feature has completely messed up this format since I can't use the feature prior to the last 20 seconds of the video. I plan on cutting out the bonus scene from the video and make it a separate video while the unedited video will be release on Vidme. Though $5+ Patrons should of seen the video by now, I included a few screenshots from the video here.

After 3 weeks of work, I finally finished the Plutia video. I don't really have a lot of input to say about the video, aside from the fact that it's the longest Neptunia animation I've ever made (~3 minutes). I will say that I'm very proud of the jokes in the videos and can't wait for people to see the video next February. With that said, here are some screenshots from the video.

This Week's Ongoing Projects

Though I was focused on finishing the animation and review this week, I did write the scripts for several projects. The first script I finished was the Danganronoa parody, which kind of surprised me, considering the issues I mentioned in last week's post. But somehow I finished the script and am currently looking for voice actors for the project.

In last week's post, I said I would finish the MGS Raiden parody by this week. I did finish the script for it, but I found it unfunny. I felt like the ending could have been a bit stronger, so I'm currently re-writing the script for that video. I did, finish the script for a different MGS video. This MGSV video will be focused on the fact thatVenom Snake basically committed identity theft on Big Boss. Hell, I even found a voice actor who could do a decent Keifer Sutherland impression. It's a 1/1 impression, but it's the best impression I've heard in a while.

The final script I finished this week was for another Dragonball Z animation. This animation will be focused on Frieza basically trolling a group of space travelers similar to the ones on Star Trek. I have no idea where I can find a voice actor that could pull off a Frieza or Zarbon impression, and I doubt I can ask someone like LittleKurioboh to voice Frieza for me. It'll be interesting to say the least.

As stated in last week's post, I will be working on the Tumblr video to make up for lost time but getting some voice actors to read the posts have been difficult for me. A lot of the actors who voice my stuff on a regular basis, has been busy due to school work, or prepping for the holidays. I'm hopeful I will get the voices for this project before the start of next week.

This Week's New Ideas

So someone ported the Doom Guy model to SFM and I'm currently brainstorming ideas for a Doom video. I know the current theme for the video is Doom Guy having an intervention for trying to kill all of the demons in hell, but I'm having a hard time piecing the jokes together.

So apparently the Sonic video is getting a lot of traction as of late despite the number of triggered Sonic fans complaining about the video.  I decided that not only will I try to continue making Sonic animations, but I want to make them as messed up as possible.

And that's it! Thank you guys for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day or night!
