Weekly Progress #16 (Patreon)

So I finally finished “Mercy's UN Interrogation” video yesterday. The most time consuming part of the animation was the Mercy and UN guy scene. These scenes were very dialog heavy and required a lot of lip syncing to do. Other than that, I don't really have a lot of things to talk about for this project since it was pretty much straightforward. The animation should be out sometime in late February-early March depending on my schedule. For now, here are a couple screen shots from the video.

This Week's Ongoing Project

So I have two ongoing projects to work on. The first one is the Plutia's Secret animation. I finally decided to start working on this project since I need to make more Neptunia animations. I livestreamed some parts of the animation during last Sunday's livestream. I will admit that I'm pretty proud of the work Tamara and Nikoruchan did for the video. They did an excellent job mimicking the actors from the game. Thus far, I have not run into any overflow errors like from the Valentine's Day video so fingers crossed. I'm going to continue working on bits and pieces of the video next week. I dunno if I'll finish it next week since the ending scene for the video might require a lot of editing on my part. These are some of its scenes.

I also have some exciting news to deliver. For the first time on the channel, I'm participating in someone's collab other than me hosting one. Krunkidle is hosting an “Advent Calander” collab and I will be using the Weeaboo Christmas Special I'm working on for the collab. Not going to lie, I'm a little nervous since other popular SFMers like  Uberchain, Dickard T, and Adamtheamazing64 will be participating in the collab. However, I believe this might be enough to push the main Youtube channel to 10K. Though the only work I did for the video is replacing Heavy's beard for the video since I felt it didn't give that “Saint Nick” type of vibe, I believe the video should be finished either next week if not the beginning of the week after. Take a look at the new beard I will be using for Heavy.

After weeks...and weeks of waiting, I FINALLY GOT MASAKOX'S LINES FOR THAT JOJO ANIMATION! This is the very first member of Team Four Star I got to voice any of my stuff! I have no idea if I'll get lucky and get some more of TFS members to voice my stuff, but this is such a huge accomplishment that I can't wait to start working on the project. However, I won't work on the animation 'til I finish the Plutia and Christmas videos. Also, I have no idea if I will be releasing the video immediately, or if this will be a scheduled video. I'll give it some more thought.

I'm also one-two voice actors away from getting all the voices I need for the next Senran Kagura video. Initially, I wanted to get LiaVA to voice Hibari, but she's going through a rough patch right now. So I will probably look into the voice actor my friend Gao recommended.

Finally, I started typing out the script for my Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force review. Depending on how scheduling goes, I will get Paul who voiced Bengineer in my “Bengineer vs Demoman” video to reprise his role. I'm also going to have to look around for someone to translate English to Japanese since Bengineer only speaks Japanese. If I can't find a translator, I'm going to have him speak English. I also managed to get Nikoruchan to voice IF again, since her ending scene will lead into my Megatagmension Blanc review sometime in Feb or March. 

This Week's New Ideas

I've been asking my friend Gax for advice on which future animations I should work on since he's pretty knowledgeable on what anime communities are rapidly growing on Youtube. He recommended I should do animations based on RWBY, Yuri on Ice, Keijo,  Danganropa, and Dragonball Super. I'm going to watch all of these shows some time in the coming weeks and start drafting some animation ideas for them.
