This Week's Finished Project

So this week's finished project is A Weeaboo Valentine's Day 2017, which was originally the Hatsune Miku's confession video. The reason why I decided to turn it into a Valentine's special was due to the fact that I was struggling with coming up with an original Valentine's Day video. However, when I realized that the script I wrote for the Hatsune Miku video had romance as a core focus, I knew I could turn it into a special. The video will come out a couple days before Valentine's day. This was supposed to be a very straightforward project, but for some reason, SFM kept crashing on me. I kept getting a “CutlRBTree Overflow” error. I literally spent a day trying to figure out what's the cause of this error since I got the same error when I worked on Nowacking's scene for the channel trailer video.  I'm going to research this error some more since this could pose a problem in future work. For now, here are a couple screen shots from the video.

Though I'm pretty sure most of you guys saw the video already, I finally finished the newest channel trailer video. Like I said in the previous paragraph, I almost couldn't finish the project because of that one error. If you didn't see the video yet, you can watch it here .

This Week's Ongoing Projects

After getting the last line, I proceeded to work on the latest Overwatch animation, which will spoof Mercy's time getting interrogated by the U.N. For this project, I'm going to work on the skits first, then work on the main “Mercy” part of the video. One interesting fact  about the project is that I had to do a small scene built for McCree and Reyes scene. I don't know what else to talk about for the project since I finished two out of six scenes from the video. In case you're interested, here are a couple screen shots.

I will begin to work on the next Hyperdimension Neptunia animation. If I play my cards out right, then it will come out a week after the Mercy video. I had a hard time trying to find an appropriate map for this video since I'm getting tired of using Suburbia for almost every “family” video. I probably will spend some time in the future building future scenes since I feel like it will make the animation more unique. For the Neptunia video, I decided that I will be using a Counter Strike Global Offensive map, which is kinda weird since the last time I used it was for my Mentos parody video. Another thing to note is that I will be livestreaming myself working on this animation since Twitter voted for me to do so. So if you're available this coming Sunday and want to see another HDN video, then stop by.

I also been collecting voices for the next Senran Kagura video. Right now, I got Tamara to reprise her role as Asuka and also voice Ikuragu in the video. I will also have NamoifiedVA to voice Katsarugi and LiaVA to hopefully voice Hibari. I plan to start working on the project after I finish working the HDN one. I probably will schedule this in March since the next Senran Kagura game should come out around that time.

Finally, I didn't finish work on the Weeaboo Christmas special yet, but I plan to start work on the video immediately after working on the Overwatch video. Hopefully the Christmas special shouldn't take too long to finish since most of the work will come from lip syncing.

This Week's New Ideas

I came up with three new ideas this week. The first one is a possible Legend of Zelda video which will have Link coming to grips with all the stuff he did in his Wolf form. I currently have Tamara working on her lines as Zelda...and a furry, and currently thinking of other actors for the video. Just going to wait and see. I did run into some problems with the Wolf Link models in which his eyes kept blanking, but my friend Toxicbucket told me how to fix it.

Maybe it's because I started watching MasakoX's content a bit more, or I'm seeing some really bad plot holes in  Dragonball Super, but I've been more enthusiastic about creating more DB parodies. The idea that came to me as sort of an abridged parody of the whole Goku Black arc. What I mean by that is that the video will make fun of everything that happened in this arc. This is probably going to be a 3-5 min video since I am making fun of a lot of stuff, so I have my work cut out for me. It's still in the brainstorming stage, but I think I have a good idea of the jokes and flow for the script.

The final idea I came up with is a “Yandere Survival Guide” since for some bizarre reason, it's an often searched term on Youtube. The thing is that instead of making it a full fledge animation, it might be edited to be more like the reviews on the channel with anime clips of crazy Yandere girls in it. The problem is...I will be having clips from various anime in the video. Japan doesn't recognize fair use laws and has a nasty tendency of copyright claiming videos. Some even copyright strike them. I'm going to talk to a few of my anime reviewer friends and research ways to prevent this from happening.

Anyway, that's all I got this week! Thank you guys for reading! And I hope you have a wonderful day or night! See ya!
