Weekly Progress #12 (Patreon)

So I finally finished the Goku's Perfect Family animation. Despite the issues I mentioned in the last weekly progress update, I managed to animate the video successfully. The animation wasn't as stressful as the Trunks video since Goku's arms didn't deform when I moved them. But I did notice a few facial flexing issues with Goku and some weird lighting issues with Gohan. I did managed to bandage the lighting issue by increasing lighting on Gohan and Goku. The video will come out the first week in February instead of the last week of January. I'll explain the reason why in the last few paragraphs.

This Week's Ongoing Projects
The only ongoing project I did for this week was the roast video. I say I was pretty productive since I animated four roasts! Which means that I'm just need to animate three more! However, the last three roasts I need to animate are pretty dialog heavy compared to the previous ones. But, I'm confident that I'm in the final stretch for this roast video. With that said, here are some screen shots.

Though I finished the script for the Bad Rats: The Show review, I anticipate that I will have to delay the review by a week. I poorly managed my time for this video since one of the voice actresses for the project won't be able to give me her lines until this weekend. In the meantime, I looked around for more voice actors for the project. I'm going to start recording my lines for the review as well as animate the review this weekend and next week.

I totally forgot about the Plutia Weed video. Not gonna lie, the Plutia weed animation is going to take a while since it'll require me animating Purple Heart, who is a pain to animate using the rig I created for her. I'll probably work on it in bits, so it won't stress me out.

I got a lot done in terms of script writing. In the Hanzo Academy's Ninja Service video, I noticed that there's a meme going on in the comments section in which everyone rated Asuka's service. I then realized that I could make a sequel to that video in which Asuka threatens the old man to give her a better rating. I finished the script for the sequel and am currently waiting for the actor who voices the old man to reprise his role. I'm also looking for voice actors for Katsuragi, Ikuragu, and Hibari for the project. In other words, it's gonna take some time.

I finally finished the script for the Dark Souls parody featuring Solaire. I'll probably tweak the script since I feel like there are too many Dark Souls memes in it, but I don't think they'll break it. I do plan on commissioning Dukelovesya to voice Solaire since he did send me his take on Solaire a few weeks ago. However, I won't be starting the Solaire project until early November.

I will be starting another Patron commission starting next week. The problem I've been running into for this commission is getting the Yuno model to work. If my friend can't get the model working by next week, then I'm going to use the alternative the Patron requested me to use. 

The final script I finished this week has to do with VR technology. Apparently, there have been news reports of people getting eye herpes after trying on VR headsets at press events. Then I thought to myself “What if the person got eye herpes after interacting with their 'waifu'?” Essentially, their waifu's gave them herpes. So I typed out a script based on my thoughts and I plan to work on it ASAP. Unlike the other projects, this one is more time sensitive since this VR eye herpes epidemic has been appearing in the news as of late. I don't know if I should title the video “MRW: VR Eye Herpes” or something else, but I got time.

This Week's New Ideas
So lately, I've been watching a lot of Dragonball Super and love Black Goku. However, I've noticed a lot of weird things in Dragonball Super. Like Trunks' girlfriend is basically a pedophile since technically, she's Goku's age if not a little older. Or that despite the fact Beerus is the God of Destruction, he lets Bulma egg him on. In other words, I'm currently brainstorming another Dragonball parody.

Another Channel Hiatus?
Now, earlier I talked about that I will be scheduling the Dragonball parody in February instead of late January. That's because I decided that I will be putting the channel on another 2 week hiatus during the first two weeks of January. I need to take some more breaks since I feel like it's causing me some unnecessary stress as of late. I'm the only person animating, editing, and scheduling these videos as well as managing all of my social media profiles. I know I won't put the channel on hiatus for another two months, but I thought I'll share it with you guys.
