Weekly Progress #6 (Patreon)

I only got two projects done this week. One was the Patreon commission and the other was content I will schedule for the channel sometime in December.

So last week, I said that I almost finished the Toyko Ghoul parody based on Five Guys restaurant. This week, I managed to finish that parody. I don't really have a lot to talk about for this project since all the animations were done last week, and the only things I had to do for that video was work on some lighting, rendering, and editing the video. I will say that this will be another video featuring Nowacking, LobosJR Gaming, and my friend TricyTV. I anticipate that I will release the video sometime in December as long as my video upload schedule doesn't change. For now, here are some screenshots from the video.

Another project I finished this week is for the first commission I got from one of you guys! The patron requested me to animate the intro from The Misadventures of Flapjack, which to be honest, I never seen before. Not gonna lie, I had a lot of fun animating this commission. Since this was based on a cartoon, I felt like I could squash and stretch the characters more than usual. I also added to hidden Easter eggs in the video because why not? Though $5+ Patrons already saw the video, everyone should be able to see the video today. That's right, boys. It's going to be a double upload. To hold you over, here are a couple screenshots from the video.

While working on my Patreon commission, I was also able to generate this little gem. I'm going to stroke my ego and say that this one simple image 104 notes on Tumblr, and even got Lythero to save the image. Though I already posted it here, if you want to memeify this image, go for it!


This Week's Ongoing Projects

I do have a lot of stuff to talk about in projects that I worked on this week. After I worked on the Toyko Ghoul parody, I decided to work on my Sonic parody “Sonic Friendzones Amy.” I briefly talked about it in last week's progress post, but I decided to work on it for this week. The biggest problem I have with this video is working with the Sonic models. Though the Sonic models look great, lip syncing them are a pain in the ass. Although these models use sliders for lip syncing, the sliders can cause the mouth of the Sonic models to look extremely weird at times. Despite this, I really enjoyed Deadjosey's and PM Seymour's performance for this video. Especially Deadjosey since she made Amy come off as a deranged psychotic killer. There's especially one scene in the video that will piss off so many Sonic fans, it's almost laughable. I anticipate that I will finish the video by the weekend. I was hoping to work on more of the Roast video, but due to how hectic my schedule was, I was only able to work on one roast this weekend. I apologize if you guys were hoping for some more, but my main focus this week was getting the Sonic and Toyko Ghoul videos done this weekend. This scene is taken from the roast involving Scout, Miss Pauling, and Tracer.

In last week's new ideas, I mentioned that I wanted to work on a “It Came From Twitter” video involving how to confuse Millennials. I found four tweets that I want to animate for the video.

Since my narrator friend asked me to work on the video, I'm going to ask him to voice one line. I'm also going to ask some more of my voice acting buddies to lend their voices for the video.

I also finished writing the script for the Bad Rats review. From looking at the script, you can expect another Perverted Jimmy scene, a Metroid joke, and...a terrorist joke. Not gonna lie, I had to be very careful how I wrote that terrorist joke since Youtube might demonetize the video. I got all the voice actors lines this week and will start voicing my lines hopefully this Saturday. I'm going to primarily focus on  the review and more of the roast videos since I'm only two videos away from finish December videos.

I'm almost done getting all the voice actors for the next #Gameindustri_Drama video. The only lines I need to get are for Iris Heart and Uni. Originally I asked Nowacking to lend her voice for the video, but her schedule is kinda tight now. I'm going to ask Rinachan to voice at least Iris Heart and my friend Deadjosey to voice Uni. Since the #gameindustri_drama videos aren't too stressful to make, I might work on the video along with my Bad Rats review.

This Week's New Ideas

The only new idea I had was animating the following Overwatch Comic Dub from...my...friend DeadJosey. I mentioned her a lot in this post, didn't I? Anyway, she did a Overwatch Comic Dub featuring DVA and Lucio that I honestly thought I could twist in my own sick way.  Unlike the other videos I work on, I'm going to release this video next Friday depending if I finish the video in the stream. I also plan on animating more Overwatch comic dubs, but I'm going to do it every other month since I still prefer creating original parodies as opposed to animating something someone else worked on.

And that's pretty much it for this week's progress report! Oh! I also forgot. I recently launched a gaming channel where I will be uploading all gameplay related content from the channel including gameplay VODs.
