This Week's Finished Projects

Unlike last week's progress update, I did schedule a new video last week and almost finished another animation, which I'll talk about in ongoing projects segment.
So, I finally finished the Trunks video that I asked GaoGaiKingVA to lend voice in. I originally thought the project would be a pain in the ass since the Trunks model I used for the animation uses facial flexes. However, it turns out that lip syncing that model was vastly easier than lip syncing the TF2 ones due to coming up with a method in which I can arrange the mouth into various positions, and create a preset slider for each mouth position. By doing this, I was able to lip sync Trunks a lot faster than lip syncing a HWM model. I'm planning on using this method for more animation projects that require me to use models with facial flexing. Normally, I would schedule the video for December, but I know Dragonball Xenoverse 2 will be coming out on October 25th. To benefit from the Dragonball Xenoverse 2 hype, I will schedule the Trunks video for October 21st. I will have to modify the schedule to accommodate this change, but I think it'll be worth it. Here are a couple of screenshots from the video.

This Week's Ongoing Projects

Ironically, I thought I would be finishing the Sonic video this week, but I finally got one of my voice actor's lines for a Tokyo Ghoul/Five Guys parody I'm working on. Keep in mind that one of the voice actors for the project is LobosJr, who is a HUGE Twitch streamer. I mean 150,000+ followers huge. In fact, he's lending his voice for September's MRW: Youtube Herd Mentality video. Originally, I was going to scrap the project because I couldn't find the time to find a replacement actor and one more female actor for the video, but my friend, TricyTV, contacted the voice actor and asked him to finish his lines. Afterwards, I commissioned Nowacking to voice one or two lines for the video. Once I got all of the lines, I just animated all of the scenes, which weren't too tough to do, since the humor heavily relies on Gaxbot's narration. In fact, I anticipate finishing the video sometime today as all of the animated scenes were finished last night. For now, here are a couple screenshots from the video.

Other than the Toyko Ghoul video, I did work on one scene for the Sonic video. This scene involves a part in the video in which Amy decides to set someone's house on fire. I'll just leave you with this one screenshot from the video.

I FINALLY GOT STARTED ON THE ROAST VIDEO!...Well...only one roast. But I'm planning on working on more in the coming weeks. The first roast involves one Youtube user's comment about Hanzo. Here's a screenshot from the video.

Also, I examined the “Misadventure's of Flapjack” intro enough that I have a ballpark idea of what to do for the video. I'm still sticking with my idea to have Link and Ganondorf in the video since I get gitty thinking about animating Ganondorf kicking poor Toon Link. I got started working on the video by creating a makeshift “Candy Island” and resizing the whale to fit Ganondorf and Link in it. Depending on how this Sunday's stream turns out, I will livestream myself working on the video. As long as things goes according to plan, I plan to finish the video next week.

I'm going to now talk about the voice actors that I contacted last week. Rinachan got back to me, and I will be commissioning her on a regular basis. The problem is...she's incredibly busy. I believe she's a full-fledged voice actress now, so her schedule is super packed at the moment. However, I will start commissioning her for voicing some of my animations. Hell, I even asked her to lend her voice for a couple roasts in that Thanksgiving video. I also got a response back from Brent, and he's going to be tough to commission as it'll cost a little more than the usual Patreon earning to get him to voice a 100-word script. It should be possible in the near future, but it is out of the question for now. I also found a replacement Widowmaker voice actor for the Torbjorn video I'm working on since Lia is too busy with school. I'm going to work on the Torbjorn video after I finish the Sonic video.

I finished the script for the next #Gameindustri_Drama video and got Lt. Eddy to finish his lines. I can say that from looking at the script, it'll poke fun at Compa, Plutia, IF and Uni (again). I'm thinking Singing Samine would be able to pull off a good Compa and Plutia, but I'm still waiting for her lines. I'm also thinking about either asking Nowacking or Deadjosey to voice IF and will make my decision hopefully by next week.

I'm going to end this ongoing projects section by mentioning that I'm almost done with the Bad Rats review script. Once I'm done with the script, I'm going to voice my lines and get the other voice actors to voice theirs. The only thing I'm kinda concerned about in regards to the script is the part about Bomber Rat. I made a terrorist joke involving him and kinda worried how Youtube will take it. But, I structured that part of the review like how Saturday Night Live did their “Shark Tank” parody featuring ISIS.

This Week's New Ideas

One of my friends who's the same narrator for the Toyko Ghoul parody, suggested that I should do a “It Came From Twitter: How To Confuse A Millennial.” I think this is a fantastic idea! I going to start looking for the best ones to animate in the coming weeks. Hell, I might even commission Yourtextspoken for this one since this is his bread and butter. Though you can expect at least one Metroid joke in the Bad Rats review, I'm still thinking about a good Metroid video that makes fun of the fact that Nintendo has basically forgotten about the series.

And that's pretty much it! Thank you guys for reading and your continued support! I hope you have a wonderful day or night! See ya!
