Sorry for the delay, everyone. Been working on another commission for Revel House. I finally found the time to work on August’s Progress post.

This Month’s Completed Projects
Unlike July, I finished A LOT of projects in August. So let’s talk about one I talked about in July’s post.

I finished the Diamond Dogs commission by one of the patrons here. The animation was straightforward except for one part that required me to animate a skipping sequence. I feel like I could of done a better job animating the skipping scene, but it gets the job done. The animation should come out sometime in November.

The other animation I finished was another Fate parody based on Astoflo. Not gonna lie, this animation I’ve been trying to work on for MONTHS but had to delay it numerous times since I needed to find a new VA for Astoflo. To my surprise, the VA did a fantastic job voicing him and I might ask him to voice him again in the future. Unlike the Diamond Dogs one, this one will come out sometime in Oct or Dec depending on the progress of one animation I’m currently working on (see ongoing projects).

The other projects I finished were two “It Came From the Stream” animations. One was based off of the Fate/Extella stream and the other was based off of the last Cyberdimension Neptunia stream. Not gonna lie that these models look fantastic with the lighting applied to them. For the Fate one, I’m going to ask my friend if he can rip more Fate/Extella models for future animations. I also plan on using the Cyberdimension ones when I work on the next Neptunia parody on the channel. The Fate one should come out in November while the Cyberdimension one will come out Dec or Jan.

The final parody I finished was a YuGiOh parody. No real complaints about the animation. The models look decent though Yami’s eyelids look really bad at places and I needed to get them fixed. I also might have to re-render the animation since Kaiba’s nose looks weird with the black outline on it. However it’s overall finished. The animation should come out in December.

This Month’s Ongoing Projects
Aside from a Revel House animation commission I’m working on, I am working on a parody to celebrate season 3 of “A Certain Magical Index” which should come out in October. Like other MMD models, the models had some issues that needed to be sorted out. More specifically how the mouths look when light is applied to them. I haven’t ran into any problems with the models other than that. I hope to finish the video sometime this week if not next week.

Other than the scripts I mentioned in July’s post, I did not write a script for a new parody.

This Month’s New Ideas
I mentioned I didn’t write any new scripts. However, I am brainstorming a possible Smash parody involving Waluigi and Shantae. I believe I have the overall flow of the video in my head and just need to type the script. I might have move one of December’s videos to January so I can release the video around the time Smash 5 comes out.

Original Animation Work
I’ve made a lot of progress in terms of original animation work. One person I’m working with finished Gao’s model for the podcast animation series. Neonbot finished the character designs for Gammalad, Darkmoon, and my avatar models. Finally, the prop pack I plan to use for the animation is almost done and Peixoto just need to finish 2-3 more models for me. I hope to wrap up all of the pre-production for the project around late September or early October.

This is an exclusive scoop for you guys, but the other project I’m working on is a short film animation in Blender. Once Peixoto is finished with the prop pack, I’m going to have him model this bad boy. Unlike the podcast animations, I have no idea when this project will be worked on or finished. But I will keep updating you guys as it progresses.

And that’s it! Once again, I want to remind everyone here that I have a discord server where I post WIPs before posting them here. So feel free to join.

With that said, thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day or night! See ya!
