Weekly Progress #51 (Patreon)

This Week's Completed Projects
The only project I finished this week was the MRW: Youtube Demontization video. Last thursday, 91 of my videos were deemed “not-advertising friendly.” Even though thanks to Patreon and the t-shirt sales and plans to diversify where I can earn money when it comes to content creation, Youtube counts as a third of my income and I was livid. So I made a short video poking fun/venting about the situation. You can find it here. 

This Week's Ongoing Projects
I focused my attention on working the Saber video as well as the next Gameindustri drama video. I'll talk about the Saber video first.

Not going to lie, the Saber video is probably going to be one of the funniest videos I worked on  for this year. I really loved how Alifuro and Retro gave their lines, and I think the after outro joke is going to be freaking hilarious. Also, I really enjoyed animating Merlin for the video since I was able to make him really expressive at times. There were times I laughed my ass off during the "I'm done with your shit" scenes for the video. I'm going to work on the outro joke scene tomorrow and then I'll go into lighting the scenes and rendering the video. I might try something different in which I might color-grade the scenes. I never tried out color grading before, but it might add something extra to the video. With that said, here are a few screenshots from the video.

The other video I worked on was the next Gameindustri drama video. I knew that there was no way the video was going to be finished by the end of this week due to the work going into the Saber video. However, I knew if I worked on a few scenes for the video, I can most likely finish it next week. For this week, I just animated Linda and Anonydeath scenes for the video. Unlike the other Neptunia models, the Dengekiko model was a bit more complext to animate. Though I liked the fact she uses TF2 bones unlike the other Neptunia models, her faceposing was very limited so I had to make due. Anonydeath was a bit weird to animate. Since his default T-pose has him horizontal instead of vertical, it caused a few of the transforms to be flipped around. Despite this, I was able to animate with him. The only scenes I have left to animate are the Neptune and Dogooman scenes. Here are a few screenshots.

I'm waiting for Tamara to give me her Witcher 3 lines then I'm going to start working on the Witcher 3 review. I also managed to get all  of the lines for the Dragonball video so once I finished the Gameindustridrama video, I will work immediately on the Dragonball video. 

This Week's New Ideas
The only new idea I had was a short motivational video. Due to Youtube demonetizing these videos, I want to release a video to try to motivate people in not giving up. Even if Youtube is going to the shitter, you shouldn't stop making videos because of it and time to look into other options in earning money in terms of content creation. Problem is that when I was going over the script in my head, I feel like the video is going to be cringey despite me using Guran Lagann quotes in the video. I'm going to think about it some more.
