Weekly Progress #37 (Patreon)
Content
First thing I finished was the Kizuna Ai video. As I stated last week, the only bit of work I needed to do with the video was light, render and edit. However, I did notice one thing about the video. It ironically feels more of a horror video than ANY of my Halloween specials. To be fair, this could be classified as a dark comedy, but it was still bizarrely creepy. With that said, it should come out the second week of July. Here are a few screenshots.
I spent the majority of the week finishing the next Neptunia video on the channel, “Yellow Heart's Date”. The biggest problem animating this video was using the Chris Hansen model. Since there wasn't a rig for the Chris Hansen model, I had to rely on good ol' auto-rigger. The problem is that like the Neptunia model, the model bent weirdly at times. But like everything else, I just dealt with it. Another thing to note about the video is that I somewhat changed the ending to have a “It's Sunny In Philadelphia” reference (you know the one). With that said, the video should come out mid-July if not eariler. Here are a few screenshots.
This Week's On Going Projects
I was hoping I could work on more scenes for the “Nerv Psychotherapists” video, but “Yellow Heart's Date” took a huge chunk of my time this week. Sadly, I could only work on three scenes. Like I said last week, I'm really liking the overlaying technique I've been using in my animations. It's REALLY making the video look extraordinarily smooth. There's a very slim possibility that this project will be finished next week since this might be 2.5 to 3 minutes. I anticipate that this video will be finished by the week after next, if anything. With that said, here are some screenshots.
The rest of the work I did this week focused on gathering VAs for various projects. The first project in which I got all the lines I needed was for the channel's first Berserk parody. I then gathered all the lines I needed to work on “It Came From Tumblr 10” which I plan to finish next week, so I won't lose any progress on my backlog when I work on the Nerv video.
I was also planning on starting to record my lines for my Witcher 3 review, but I'm having some difficulty cleaning the audio from my microphone. So, I'm currently investigating it. I might have to make a makeshift miniature sound-booth since I think the hissing sound I'm hearing from my computer is getting into the microphone. This is also proving to be a problem for a channel origins video that I'm working on. The only thing I've noticed is that my lines sound fine (save that they sound a tiny bit compressed) when I record them using OBS.
No new ideas to report this week. Once again, thank you guys for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day or night! See ya!
